and contiues....

I invited my parents over for dinner and then Jess and Kade came. They were all here when the home teachers came. They gave a great lesson but it is so hard for Eli to sit still. He was sitting by me when Porter leaned over and whispered in my ear "Eli has a tattoo" I looked down at Eli's leg and it said POOP. Nice tat!!! He even put it on himself....he might have a career in that.

We played our favorite game. Who, what, where, when, and why. Everyone has a piece of paper and a pen. You write down Who....just a name of someone you know, or the girl at the service counter, or Santa Clause....you get it. Then you fold it over behind the paper and pass it, next you write what they did..and so on. Then when you are all done with the why, you unfold the papers and each read the one you have.
Here are some of the ones we came up with:

Eli & Peyton Manning lied on the bathroom floor stinking in the porter potty (that was Heber) in the future when they married Obama because they were diagnosed with terminal dandruff.

Andy pooped his pants (Heber was stuck on a theme) in Mexico, in the springtime of his life because his armpit hair was greasy.

Heber Clawson leaped from a building stark naked at the strip in Vegas at high noon, for the fire and ice of it all.

The hairiest, smelliest monkey demon in the world danced a jig on a table with a lampshade on his head in the church parking lot when the african peacock farts because of an upset stomach.

A giant cockroach tickled his new friend grandma babsie at the tip of a llamas tongue at 3:30am on Thursday morning to gain buns of steel.

It was a crazy night!!!! Yes, eventually we all calmed down and the night ended. AHHHHH

Sabbath continues....

I was making Sunday dinner. I called all the kids to come and straighten up the house but Brooke couldn't hear me. I told Eli to go and get her, he ran by me and said "I'm on it sir!!!"

The boys went outside and made a snow tunnel. Jack came in and told me they call it the lederhosen tunnel. And instead of king of the hill, you guessed it....it's king of the lederhosen.

Sabbath at the Clawson's

Sunday is always a fun day at our house....relaxing, spiritual, I could go on and on....(in my dreams). During Sacrament meeting, Heber was talking to me as I was trying to listen to the Bishop speak. He finally said "Listen to me when I'm talking to you" I looked at him and waited...he didn't say anything so in the same accent he used, I said "Talk to me when I'm listening to you." He said "I don't like cheese, this is not cheese licking time!"

I looked down at Heber's fingernails which grow super fast. I said "When we get home I'm cutting your nails." He said "NO....I'm growing them out so I can cut pie."

I asked Heber a question....he answered. I said I didn't think that was right. He said "Mom, don't believe yourself...believe the children."

The boys were already in the car when I got out of Relief Society. I got in, turned around and Eli had on my glasses. He said "Hello....I'm your granny!"

On the way home we were going over ice bumps in the road. We went over a big one and Heber yelled "We got some air on that one!!!! We're flying like a butterfly!!!"

Jess needed a shower....or 4

Jess' first shower was given by her cousin Ashlee and aunt Jill. We had yummy soups and delicious desserts. She had to answer questions about Kade and when she missed, she had to put a piece of gum in her mouth. They stuffed her with the wrapping paper and bows. It was a grocery shower and she got a ton of great food with recipes.

Her 2nd shower was given my her Mom-in-law to be who absolutely adores her!!! Who wouldn't??? actually I think the shower was given by her sis-in-law...who did a fabulous job!!! Jess had to answer more questions about Kade and did a pretty good job! We had a delicious little dinner and tied a quilt for her. She received a bunch of great gifts to make her bathroom and kitchen look spiffy!!!!
Her 3rd shower was given by her grandma Babsie. Another grocery shower which is just what she wanted!!! She got so much stuff that she'll have to rent out a storage unit just for all her food!!! It was so fun to see my friends from my old neighborhood and my cousins and aunt that I haven't seen forever!!!

Her 4th shower was given by her friends. It was a lingerie shower and I have no pics from that but ....thanks Krystal!!!!

no...i didn't forget matt.

for those of you that didn't know....Matt is going through a strange stage right now. I've tried to get him to cut his hair and stop bleaching it, but he is really trying to find his own identity.

ok...i'll update :)

It's been forever I know! I'm not even going to try to attempt to catch you all up on what's been going on...I promise I'll be better!

I'll just do a summery of all of us:

Jess: still living in Logan but has moved out of the apartment where her roommate couldn't decide what she was, or if she preferred guys or girls. Hallelujah!!!! She is still working and having a great time!

Matt: Just finished Lacrosse...they made it to the playoffs and won a game!!! Now...he takes a week break until Basketball camps start. He took the ACT and got a pretty dang good score!

Brooke: Has her fair share of seeing the doctor in the past month. She sprained her ankle and tore ligaments while playing bball with her brothers. Then she had surgery this past weekend to remove a cyst. She is still recovering from that!

Jack: Is sooooooo excited for school to be out. Me too! He is playing baseball for the first time...they had a game last night (which I had to miss) He hit a home run first hit....awesome!!

Porter: He is playing on the same team as Jack....he did an awesome job and kept stealing bases. He is a great student...following in his siblings footsteps. I can't even begin to tell you how relieved I am that they all work hard and get good grades!

Heber: He just lost his first tooth----the first one on his own. He is so stinkin cute with those teeth gone! He is also playing baseball and has his first game thursday (at practice I had to keep yelling to him to get up---it is a little boring standing in the outfield!)

Elijah: is still Elijah. He keeps me busy and keeps us all laughing! quoting movie lines and pulling random faces!

I am just working, working and working...whether at kent's or at home. Not too exciting, just necessary. I'll try to liven it up in the future :)

OUCH!

Box Elder played BR wednesday---ya I don't want to hear it all you BR fans! We lost by about 20-JV and Varsity. Matt did a good job. His friend even heard his name on the radio when he was playing in the varsity game. I wasn't going to take the little boys to the game, but Jack assured me that if we went to the JV game, we could get in free. He was wrong--it cost me $17! Jack bought a ticket for a dollar to have a chance at some money at half time. They choose 3 people to shoot from 3 diff spots--if they make it, they win money. Jack's name was called 1st so he went up and made the foul shot and won 20 bucks!--no one else made any. So he paid for the game (he doesn't know that yet! :) JK--I'll let him keep it!)

The kids wrote their letters to Santa the other night. They were so cute! Matt asked for the impossible (so he wrote) a jeep, and bball & lacrosse skills beyond comprehension. Of course he also asked for chocolate! Brooke is good with clothes, Jack asked for a bunch of things including jerky and rum--jk santa! (that's what he wrote). Porter asked for sports, sports, and more sports stuff! Heber wants a 'computer that kind of works' (guess he's used to my laptop!)
and all Eli wanted was cake. Kids are so funny and so fun at this time of year!!!

Tonight is our first Christmas party---our ward dinner. should be fun!

The weekend

Friday Heber got his cast off!!! He was a little nervous because he thought Judy was going to saw his arm off. But then he was upset because she got his shirt and pants all dusty! Eli was just goofin around the whole time.

Matt had a game friday night in Orem. All of the teams lost. Bummer

The kids stayed at Dave's friday night--I was just going to watch movies while I caught up on the laundry but Jess came and rescued me! It is always fun to see her.

Sat morning, Jess n Brooke went shopping. I went to work--which was a blast. I might be pathetic, but I seriously love working at Kents. All the people who work there are awesome! And I love talking to the shoppers. I guess I just love being around people!

Jack had a bball tourney--they played the 8th grade girls teams and won it! He was so excited about his trophy he has to add to his growing collection!

My kids are so stinkin cute!!!!
